One of Asia oldest and finest club, the Sind Club is an exclusive members only club established in 1871. located in the heart of the city. Although the province of Sindh is now spelled Sindh the Sind Club still uses the old spelling given by its founder. The Sind Club history steeped in history is almost as old as Kurrachee itself. It being 28 years after the British established government of Scanned, when the city was home to a mere 56,000 inhabitants, Sind Club first and only railway service from Karachi to Kotri, Become operational in 1861 and the Suez Canal had started operation just two years prior.
